Since the 1940s, PFAS' have been utilized for their Durable Water Repellent (DWR), stain-resistant, and heat-resistant properties, making them necessary for marine apparel, including PFDs. At Mustang Survival, we're collaborating with our supply chain partners to minimize and eliminate their presence in our products.

An OEKO-TEX® label means the product has been independently evaluated and is guaranteed not to contain any harmful substances like lead, mercury, allergenic dyes, and more. The thorough testing process includes every component, including fabric, thread, buttons, zippers, and other accessories.

When a product has a bluesign® label, the entire creation process has met the strictest standards for safe workplaces and textiles. It contains approved chemicals, is created in a resource-conserving way, and is made with a reduced impact on people and the environment.
